Springfield, the third largest city in
Missouri, is approximately 87 miles west on U.S. 60. Springfield's
main attractions include Battlefield Mall, Bass Pro Shop, PFI Western
Wear, several colleges and universities.
Howell
County airports are able to handle most small aircraft. The 3 paved
runways are 3,600, 4,700 and 4,900 feet long. There is one in each of
the three larger towns.
Willow Springs is very fortunate to have
a truly diversified economy: Light industry, agriculture and
government regional offices. People enjoy the shops, stores and
services offered by our merchants. Favorable climate and rainfall make
beef, hog and
dairy farming very prominent in our area. All services
